If the People Worship Me, Why Are My Buildings Spontaneously Combusting?

In a few short days I will hopefully be booting up the Witcher 2 for the first time on a newly upgraded PC. I say hopefully because my upgrades never seem to go as smoothly as I hope. But positive thinking, that’s the key!

Anyway, in an effort to prevent myself from dropping almost eight hundred dollars on a new PC (an effort that clearly has failed) I purchased, via Steam, the Stronghold collection pack for 19.99. 5 games for 20 bucks. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. I like RTS’s. I like castles. I was hoping I could grind a couple of months out of them at which point I would be in a better position to drop eight hundred dollars.

Ventures into Multiplayer

I find it a little odd that I’m writing this as I never imagined I would ever feel compelled to play the multiplayer aspect of a game. There were several good reasons for this; I don’t like playing with other people, especially people I don’t know, I’m highly competitive and would not do well when schooled by an eight year old, and generally the games that have multiplayer are not games that I even like playing.
